Wolfedale. Happens 2-3 times a day. The only explanation I've been able to come up with is that the modems firmware version differs from that of the "Approved Modems" list on the TekSavvy site. My modem was shipped to me from TekSavvy with this firmware installed. » i39.tinypic.com/2ywa8ok.png |

We've found that this firmware wasn't getting disconnected with the the customer I tested with in Brampton. You might be having some other kind of issue. Please post in the direct forum so we can have a look at your issue. |

Unrelated, but I noticed in that screenshot and on the website that the SB6120/6121, D3GN, and DCM475 are listed as DOCSIS 2.0 modems. |

I believe you misinterpreted it. Those modems will still work with the speeds offered for DOCSIS 2.
TekSavvy Lite Cable* TekSavvy Express Cable* *Lite Cable and Express cable will work with a DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0 modem.
TekSavvy Extreme Cable ** TekSavvy Extreme Cable Pro ** **Extreme Cable and Extreme Cable Pro require DOCSIS 3 modem. |

Can we get an update on this?
I have posted in the direct forum and there is a master ticket open but I'm still stuck with STAC.02.08 firmware and getting multiple daily disconnects. I've had the modem reset several times in the middle of VoIP calls and then take 10 minutes to reconnect and I'm getting really tired of all this crap.
It is incredibly frustrating and TekSavvy's inability to get Rogers to move on this is going to drive us back to Rogers. |

I still get resets, frequently. Anyone know when this will be fixed? |

Hmm what areas are you guys in, I'm In Brampton also near GeorgeTown and have not had any disconnects.
I remember a couple of months back when dumb rogers pushed out crappy firmware to all SB6120/Sb5101 user which caused the modem to reboot every few minutes. This was corrected with a newer firmware "SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.1-SCM00-NOSH" being pushed.
If you have a SB6120 then make sure you have the above FW version. |
