Only time that stuff is any fun to watch is when something explodes. |

And the just announced 2013 GT500 has 650hp and a top speed of 202mph. That is better than the Vette ZR1 at half the price. The Vette would likely be a bit quicker off the line though and probably handles much better. But at half the price I'd take the GT500. |

Well, except for those 80s model 4 cylinder ones. And the II from the 70s. But other than that.... |

KearnstdElf WizardPremium join:2002-01-22 Mullica Hill, NJ | reply to mob well Mustangs are meant to be cool cars, that is the whole reason they even exist. Audis are for having AWD and not being seen in a Subaru.(considering Audi and Subaru are the only automakers where AWD is standard on all production models) |

| reply to Kearnstd Ironically, Audi is running a series of TV spots for the A8. Their owners encounter clueless people who don't get it. I'm pretty sure Mustang aficionados fall into the category of "don't get it" from Audi's perspective.
It's nice to have choices. |

| Doesn't make me feel any better (or worse). I like BMW. On my second one now. I also like Audi. If it were a choice between an A4 and a 325, I'd pick the BMW in a minute.
Some of the Mustangs featured in the video represent significant investment by their owners, so it's not a matter of who's car costs more, and I'm for damned sure most of them could outrun my car.
Listen to the audio, though. Those guys are as likely to appreciate my car as I am an episode of Hee Haw. Everybody wins. |

It's nice to have choices. I understand what an audi is made for. It's a sturdy vehicle for a fragile ego. -- Ich habe kein Mitleid - Me You're a daisy if you do. - Doc Holliday And as always, have nice day. |

Californians dump BMWs, leave the country
LeaseTrader.com, the website that helps motorists trade out of their auto leases, reports about 5.9% of Californians who are getting rid of their leased vehicles are moving overseas.
About three out of four are giving up higher-end luxury cars like BMWs and Mercedes, says LeaseTrader.com.
The most popular destinations for Californians are Mexico, Brazil, the Pan-Asian countries and the Caribbean. |
