Not an 8-channel modem, but it does show 8 channels set aside. I have seen it change channels after reboots, and the frequencies line up as a set of 8.

This is in Schaumburg, IL on a SB6120.

If so, then 8 channels are here in San Francisco, California

Just a reminder allot of D3 modems are only 4x4 capable (My System where I live is limiting to 4x2 at this time) whereas the newer modems are 8x4 so you will see all 8 at the same time with the 2nd generation of D3 modems.

Course there is still a benefit of spreading the demand out.

Which D3 modems are 4 x 2? I thought older D3 modems were all 4 x 4.

I modified my post. Yes the Hardware is 4x4 but the system I live in is limited to 2 even though there are 3.
