Re: Bloomington, IN
It's rather difficult to show 8 bonded channels on a modem that only has the capability of bonding to 4 at a time.
The point, that previous posters have also made, was to show that at least 48MHz is available on a given CMTS.
Channel 2 should be available on 567 MHz (which it actually is, since the modem is currently bonded to channels 2, 3, 6 & 7). |

Proves there are 8 DS available, but not necessarily that they have an 8 DS bonding-group configured. |

Washington, DC Location: Washington DC (Neighborhood: Capitol Hill) Modem: Zoom 5341j
Popped up sometime today. The modem has been up for almost 50 days so it has some errors from a previous outage.

Union, NJ Also woke up to eight bonded downstream carriers here in Union, New Jersey ! I'm so glad that I purchased this 8 X 4 modem !! Looks like the power levels just need a "little" more balancing. Performance is terrific !! |

Performance is terrific !! Yeah when I got 8 downstream the power levels went up to about 10-11dBmV. They did bring them down to 5-6 , but now my upstream power level went from 44 to 51. |

1. California 2. Ukiah Modem: Motorola SB6120, business 16/2
My connection dropped out around 3 AM today, came back sometime before 8.
Too bad Comcast hasn't approved the Zoom 5341J for business class, otherwise I'd order one now. I'm guessing the new channels are pretty lonely as I'm getting stupid levels of PowerBoost now.
