Re: Evidence of 8 Downstream Channel Bonding - Post Here Looks Like I am finally there... the downstream channels were 1,2,3,4 and the frequencies were closer. 5,6,7 above are different freq. then before, 1 is the same as before

Wilmington, DE There are definitely more than 4, but cannot confirm if there are 8 DS channels now live in Wilmington, DE.
At a business, the SMC D3 is showing 4 downstream, but they skip frequencies indicating there are indeed more than 4.
Finally some progress in Northern DE! -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

Petaluma, CA Must have got it in the last month. I have had comcast about 3 months now, and when It was first installed, we had 4 Downstream channels. IMHO even with the 4 channels, my speed never dipped under 37- 38 mbps at all times of the day. (I pay for Blast)
I get 37 Down & 6 up burst, and 26 down & 6 up sustained (using shaper probe)
Love Comcast thus far (A huge upgrade from my 27/1.8 mbps Uverse [Yes 27 down, I had internet only uverse, so I was able to use my entire lines capacity above 24])

I've had 8 Downstream and 2 Upstream for a while but I just upgraded from an SB6120 to a Zoom 5341J so I'm able to see them all now. Image posted above of modem page.
