Modem: Arris TG 862G

Put in a Comcast Gateway (with the addition of CDV) and noticed 8 channel bonding. Two upstream channel bonding with the recently upgraded blast tier that was rolled out in the northeast (50 Down/10 Up)

I've had 8 Downstream and 2 Upstream for a while but I just upgraded from an SB6120 to a Zoom 5341J so I'm able to see them all now. Image posted above of modem page.

Modem lost sync around 2 AM, came back with channel ID all the way up to 8, rather than 1-4 previously.

Must have got it in the last month. I have had comcast about 3 months now, and when It was first installed, we had 4 Downstream channels. IMHO even with the 4 channels, my speed never dipped under 37- 38 mbps at all times of the day. (I pay for Blast)

I get 37 Down & 6 up burst, and 26 down & 6 up sustained (using shaper probe)

Love Comcast thus far (A huge upgrade from my 27/1.8 mbps Uverse [Yes 27 down, I had internet only uverse, so I was able to use my entire lines capacity above 24])

There are definitely more than 4, but cannot confirm if there are 8 DS channels now live in Wilmington, DE.

At a business, the SMC D3 is showing 4 downstream, but they skip frequencies indicating there are indeed more than 4.

Finally some progress in Northern DE!

Just happened within the last hour. I find it odd the us blue light is still blinking but the modem says it's locked on 2 channels.

Looks Like I am finally there... the downstream channels were 1,2,3,4 and the frequencies were closer. 5,6,7 above are different freq. then before, 1 is the same as before

Modem: Motorola SB6120, business 16/2

My connection dropped out around 3 AM today, came back sometime before 8.

Too bad Comcast hasn't approved the Zoom 5341J for business class, otherwise I'd order one now. I'm guessing the new channels are pretty lonely as I'm getting stupid levels of PowerBoost now.

More than 5 dB diff between some channels but the "uncorrectables" are not really spiking much. No packet loss either.

Yeah when I got 8 downstream the power levels went up to about 10-11dBmV.
They did bring them down to 5-6 ,

FWIW, I was more referring to the balance (within 2-3 dB) between the multiple bonded carriers rather than the overall total power.
