Inch or so here, snowing lightly. Its for real, and just the beginning.

We were missed (which is unusual, we're like this special snow pocket just passed the foothills of the coast range that usually attracts the white stuff )

we're about the same here, started snowing early yesterday, then had a cold partly sunny day, and started snowing again around 4pm yesterday.
It's clear now (dark clouds are coming fast), but i think the ground is cooled enough for the inch or so to stay through the day, plus whatever comes down today.

We didn't have snow until the darkness started setting in yesterday, but then we got a couple of inches. Nothing in the immediate forecast, and it's mostly clear right now, but since it's about 27 ATM (brrrrr!), it will take a little while for the snow to melt.

Not even a dusting down south. It was freaking cold out this a.m., though. Son had a soccer match and had to be there at 8:30.

About 3 inches of snow and now everything is frozen, road turned into a ice rink.

I woke up to this on the 18th over here in Spokaloo....I like it!

We might not have any snow but it's a nice "balmy" 25F outside this morning

26F ATM, but it was 22F around 5 AM, and the snow is still sticking around, although today may be its last day here, at least until the next cold spell.

I live in Astoria, NY right now but I grew up in Spokane, WA. . Man o Man do I miss Zips.

Yeah, they are some of the only fast food I'll eat. Great stuff.
And, two Papa Joe's (cheeseburger w/ ham) are still $3.00.

What's so good about Zips?

Damn, it's getting cold around here! It's a bit past 2PM, and there's still ice on the bucket of water I left outside on my porch....

But at least it's nice and sunny, regardless of the cold.

Wacky Races 2012!

Yup, been a strange week freezing (and feels like it!) in the fog, drive half a mile more and in the sun it feels really hot (it's not, it just seems that way)

pretty cold and dry for December

have to go to tacoma tomorrow, hopefully the fog won't be to dense. (run into some real pea soup this week)

24F when I left the house this morning. I think we've had three mornings of freezing fog this week, during my 1+ hour commute each way

BUT I'm not really complaining given all the sunshine we've had (mostly).

Hard to believe but in less than two weeks, the days start to get longer again

For us, this was the first day in a while that was unquestionably sunny by any standard. That is, not just mostly cloudy with some sunshine here and there.

Yesterday and today we've warmed up to the upper 40s with plenty of sunshine, despite the overnight lows dipping into the upper 20s...
