| D-link DI-524 won't connect to PPPoE (no modem) I do not have access to a modem or anything. I just have an ethernet cable coming through the wall. I connect with pppoe, and it works just fine when I'm directly connected. When I try to use my dlink di524, however, I am unable to connect to internet.
I have entered my pppoe information under the WAN settings, but when I go to the STATUS tab and click "connect," nothing happens. I also noticed that every time I refresh the WAN settings page, my pppoe password changes in length. I've tried on several computers, both macs and pcs, and the same thing happens every time.
I took the router to work to test it, and it works perfectly there.
