Don't Have A Subscription TV Service

We don't have subscription TV, either cable or satellite, at home, and have no plans ever to do so. My wife and I simply don't see what they charge for it as being a sensible expense.

We somehow manage to "survive" on OTA TV, Netflix and Hulu Plus streaming, and local video store DVD/BD rentals. (Which reminds me: Gotta cancel HP. It's largely useless, in our opinion.)

We do have Comcast Business High-Speed Internet. So far that's not been affected by the price hikes. But were it to go up, I'd have to seriously consider switching to off-site hosting and the least expensive Comcast residential broadband available.

Agreed... for our family, $150 a month is the magic number. If Comcast goes over this we start cutting back.

I received an email yesterday from Time Warner, informing me that effective December 1, 2011, my internet rate will jump $5.00.

I agree. But I am more offended by the 1 week notice of the increase.
