So I just got skyrim for my 360 yesterday. Not very far in yet, but so far it's pretty awesome.
One quirk I've noticed though is that when characters are speaking, I can only hear them when I'm facing DIRECTLY at them. If I turn my head to either direction to look around, their voices fade out DRAMATICALLY, so much so that I pretty much cant hear what theyre saying anymore.
Anyone else expericening this? Or is it something wrong with my setup?
P.S. I turned up dialogue all the way in the sound options, didn't seem to help much. -- Brawnx - 85 Human Warrior - Hydraxis

May be an audio option in the menu to turn it to stereo sound or tv speakers. I never looked. I have surround sound and it moves from speaker to speaker depending on which way you are facing.
reply to Pollux7777 yeah this game is totally meant to be played with 5.1 surround I was having the same issues... but then my dad accidentally broke my cheap Xbox headset. So I was in Bestbuy yesterday looking for some deals and I found this Headset with built in surround that hooks into your typical red and white audio wires so all audio can be played through the headset.
I dropped a C note on it which is way more than I expected to pay but I'm sick of dropping 20 on cheap Microsoft starter kit ones that usually break a month after I buy them.
They are also pretty sweet for MW3 and BF3. Since they have built in 5.1 sound and adjustable volume/effects it makes it way easier to pinpoint bullet fire just by listening.
Also my GFs pumped that she doesn't have to listen to me slay dragons while she trying to sleep lol.
Now I just gotta find a set of 5 prong HD cables for the Xbox so I can be fully immersed in HD visuals and Audio.
