 | Played Battlefield 3 with a VPN or something to hide my real Electronic Arts has decided to spy on their consumers with their shitty "Origin" (similar to Steam crap from Valve). I use a VPN (fee - »www.overplay.net) but now I cannot play the game "Battlefield 3".
So if I want to play this game I have to do with my actual IP address. What is unacceptable to me.
Is there a way (VPN or other) to play this game while hiding my real IP?
EA = Big Brother now. |

 | What is the error you are getting when you try to play. |
|
 | reply to MrMago0 I don't received a error. Just the crap Origin.exe disconnect me and so I'm unable to play Battlefield 3 using my VPN.
I try too to be inside the game (VPN off) to put on the VPN. Doing that and again the crap Origin disconnect me.
But my VPN don't work just for this game. For other games all work good. Even Battlefield Bad Company 2 work with my VPN. |

 | reply to MrMago0 1) Without knowing HOW origin functions, all we can give is speculation.
2) VPN is NOT some magical internet anonymizer wand, and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise a) doesn't know what they're talking about and/or b) needs to read up on basic TCP/IP connectivity.
If you value your privacy more than playing BF3, I'd return the game from where you bought it.
