Motorola 2210 Firmware downgrade

I have several Motorola 2210 modems that have the newer AT&T firmware. I need someone who has the hardware to downgrade the firmware because the new firmware disables telnet and the ability to change device IP. Or if you can guide me how to do it myself that would be ideal.

A software downgrade via the GUI will not work as the primary firmware is hard-coded and requires special hardware to over-write it (JTAG port). If you know what I'm referring to please contact me. I will send you the modems, please name your price.

I believe I have flashed 2210-02-1006 firmware (from the AT&T CD) onto a 2210-02-1002 using the GUI. But I would recommend just getting Netopia 3346N-002 modems on eBay.

I have too, but the password from the original firmware is required on most pages of the downgraded firmware and there is no way to bypass it.

A long press of the reset button (LED red then green, a couple of times) should clear it back to the default password, but it will also clear all of your settings, of course. It's always safer to do that on a second (backup) modem so you can't shoot yourself in the foot too badly.
