What an amazing difference! This new firmware breathes new life into my aging HR21-200.
The GUI is much more pleasing to look at and the change speed in the guide and menus are indeed lightning fast compared to the previous firmware.
I got last night's on my HR24's and H24's. You may want to go turn off the energy star power options if you leave your device idle for long periods of time (I leave one of mine on all day long for music). |

Yep ... I read about the issues with the Power Save feature & turned that off 1st thing ... it's probably not anything I'll ever use. |

On channel 1, they have updated their format now and the press red, red, blue, blue, yellow, green does not work now. How do you clear the NVRAM/FLASH now? |

They have not pushed the latest release to my system yet. I have been waiting for it to update, but it seems they are slow to push it out. I didn't want to force an update, and don't know how to do it. I hope it comes soon. I have seen the new features shown in the guide. |

I wonder if this is related to an issue that started about 3 days ago.
On the Sports Mix channel (the one with the square boxes that shows what is on now) using the select button does not work. Hitting the select button would take you directly to that game; but it just froze. I finally got out of it, but it was still showing in the top left corner.
Last night, after going to that channel, it just completely locked up. I could not get any button to work.
I had to do a hard reset and that has worked OK so far; but I am staying away from that sports channel.

| Mine does not lock up, but it won't take you to the highlighted channel with Select. I tried the News Mix channel (102) and it works just fine. |
