I grew up and live in Philly but I stopped being a Phillies fan forever in 1969 when they traded Richie Allen for Curt Flood (who never came here). Damn, I'm old.
Before that they kept getting rid of my favorite players: Smokey Burgess, Harvey Haddix, Jack Sanford, and I could go on. Bob Carpenter ruined the Phillies for me.
