| WNDR3400 Being Glitchy I just bought a Netgear WNDR3400 about a week ago, have it hooked up to a 2Wire 3800HGV, changed the IP on the 2Wire and set it to DMZplus mode and everything has been working great for about a week, now the past couple days I've had two instances where Wifi cut out for a couple minutes on the 5GHz band on my Macbook, ran down to Check the indicators to see that 5GHz was still lit up and then it reconnected and was just fine afterwards. Today I went to use one of the PC's to find that the router was running very slow, ended up rebooting it and everything was fine since. Not sure if I got a bad router or the Netgear is not getting along with the 3800, and/or some of the computers. If this one keeps acting up I will return it and try something else, I've tried 4 other routers (two Netgear and two Linksys) and they were all behaving fine (ended up at this one because I wanted dual band)
If anyone has some idea's on what's going on or experience with the WNDR3400 I would love your input. |
