[Help] Adobe Reader X setting not the same as other account
After installing Adobe Reader X in Win7, I configured it not to Display PDF in Browser and I UNCHECKED it for sure.
However, after creating my new account I launched a PDF from Google and the PDF document was opened in the browser. I do not know why when I know for sure I unchecked that setting under my localadmin account.
Nextime, how can I inherit the same Adobe Reader settings as I did under my localadmin account when using my new account which is under the Admin group also?
Thats wierd. I KNOW FOR SURE, that I did UNCHECK that setting after setting up Adobe Reader under that account. But with my other account, I found out the hard way which is very very annoying and a security risk as well when opening PDFs within a browser.
I just want to have the equal settings next time.
There may be some group policy you can set. Either that or do what I do... which is after installing acrobat, I open the program up manually and change the setting.
