New speeds and more HD

Just got a letter, about new speeds.

Looks like the gamer is going to 25/2
High speed 12/1 (1 up finally).

Didn't read about the HD channels getting added.

I might actually upgrade to gamer speed for 25/2.

6 new HD channels with MLB, Comedy Central being the only ones of interest. High Speed 12/1 now will be $46.95, gamer staying at $69.95....Metrocast needs to be a little more competitive with the internet pricing but the monopoly leverage gives them no incentive

It's nice to see the download speeds improving, but it seems the upload speeds are still very low. 1 mbps upload for high speed? That's up from .5. I don't know what the industry average is, but my friends on Cox and Comcast seem to do much better than that.

New speeds are live here in VA. Just thought I'd pass the word along. Been able to consistently pull 24Mbps / 1.9Mbps all day.

I see the channels are up but all with bad TiVo data.

Doesn't look like my downstream speeds are up much.

Anyone know how long it will be before the Tivo data catches up?

I've had to put in 3 Tivo requests so far. They added the channels to rochester but didn't fit the format.

So instead of (MLBHD) it says (MLB NETWORK HD) and has no program guide data.

How do you put in a Tivo request?

Thanks! I figure I'll wait a bit longer, as far as I know the channels aren't even officially live yet...

The paperwork that went out said speeds and prices were effective January 1. My guess is the prices will go up before the speeds do.

Firstly, Happy New Year! Secondly, I don't have interwebs with Metro, but I do get the TV. I have a TiVo. I still see the Digital version WPRI. Still no Tru TV. No program guide on Nick, MTV, nor Comedy.
