Minimum Upload speed for Majic Jack

Hi,

I'm considering getting rid of my landline and purchasing a MJ. I owned one a few years back but my DSL connection is so bad that I gave it away. I'm likely going to cable internet where the download speed will be up to 3 Mbps and the upload speed "up to" 256 Kbps. There are often up to 5 of us on our wireless laptops at a given time in our house. I know the minimum requirement for upload speed is 125 for MJ. Do you think it will work OK if I'm getting in the 256 range?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The big question will be how close to capacity are you going to be running. Is everyone doing to be doing major downloads almost simultaneously?
