One of the nicest things is the comments sections. Helps weed out spam,virus postings as well as community help if needed. NZBMatrix does as well but does not have a raw search feature.
Plus bookmarks, saved searches, email notifications of postings (watchdog), etc.

Don;t get me wrong, I used to be all over Newzbin, but then after the fights with the MAFiAAA, they went downhill. |

I'm on the fence with Newzbin. I use them as a back up for NZBMatrix and one thing I do like about Newzbin is the way they index music. It's much neater and easier to sort through than Matrix. I'll probably hop on the Xmas deal like I always do. |

kudos:4 | Not nearly as elegantly as Newzbin. I'v been with them since their absolute original days, well prior to their invention of NZB files. I'll continue with them because they provide a simple to use one-stop user experience.
I have a $10 lifetime Nzbmatrix subscription as well (I got it when Newzbin was shutdown not too long ago), but I find I don't use it too often.

I used to use Newsbin back in the day before all the hubbub. How does one handle payment to NB now that they are under scrutiny? Anyone concerned with passing CC info along? |

I meant more along the lines of providing your real info to a company that has already been on the receiving end of legal repercussions. Any concerns that their billing database gets... compromised? |

Personally I just think it is silly to pay for something you can get for free but I suppose you gotta have that elegance right.
