I wanted 52+ weeks to get me past xmas 2012 as I was out of credits last week. I bought 40 weeks and then did another 16 weeks. Others have done 40 + 40. But if your first purchase puts you over 55 weeks, the system won't let you do a 2nd buy... so buy accordingly.
Well, the 55 week magic number did NOT work for out for me.
I purchased 32 weeks- enough weeks to get me to 371 days- less than the 55 weeks you suggested is the magic number.
So, I go to topup again and I'm greeted with:

Jimbo, I got that from others that had posted that they got the message at 55 weeks but no message with less than that. I did 40 weeks and then another 16 weeks to get me a full year plus some past next xmas. Maybe it is 52. Sorry, I relied on what others had posted on the Newzbin site.
