West Des Moines, IA | Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him and he's very deserving of the honor. He should have made it a few times in the past. Just a little bitter. Seems like sympathy votes and something he was unable to witness. Would have loved to see his reaction. |

He made a lot of enemies in his day, he was not always that likable old man that most remember. Maybe its possible that he didnt get in before because some didnt want to see his reaction to getting in. All that being said, he deserved to get in a long time ago. |

I've heard he was a big time bad guy when he was on the field in his playing days. probably why he didn't get in, and probably shouldn't have. But then again, I think a bunch of people currently in the hall shouldn't be there..... what do I know..lol |
