| System headed to Midwest via Alaska ( again) Here's another system that started in Mid-Pacific, headed to Alaska via the Aleutians and then turned south. It's now headed down from the North headed for the Midwest later this week if it continues motoring along:

If you play the full animation at 110 frames and speed it up you can see it hammering Alaska and then turning 90' to head more or less due South from the Arctic.
