I wish I could help but there is nothing I can do to change billing departments decisions.

Just call the credit card company and do a chargeback. Acanac will be called by the credit card company. When Acanac says it's for an account that's closed and is some sort of backbilling, the credit card company will delete the charge since that's almost certainly against Acanac's TOS with the CC processor.

Be quick though! Usually you only have 60 days to get this done.

So let me get this Straight They are trying to bill You For excess USAGE on acanac from over a year ago when your Modem was Not even working? Wow, File a chargeback it will not hurt your credit rating whatsoever, Acanac will then be required to provide evidence to your CC company of the charges.

The charges apparently are from a time when his modem was working that billing says were never paid.
