| Besides it killing LIVE for a few hour for me, I have grown on it pretty quickly. It actually feels like a Microsoft product to me now. Some of the new apps look interesting, I just hope it doesn't drive up the price of LIVE again. I was trying to check out the EPIX app but it was not working. I hope that it doesn't cost extra. -- Mets, Cowboys, Devils |

Only thing I wish they did was to label which apps need the gold membership to use, that way you don't go around downloading apps you can't use. |

Personally I think the ads in the middle aren't big ebough. I want them HUGE. Like taking up the whole page so it makes seeing the tabs that take me to the things I actually want to do are impossible to see.
I find it weird that dispite charging $60 a year MS still need advertising revenue for XBL and yet somehow Sony can provide PSN for FREE and have no advertising.
I think if I'm paying $60 for XBL I should get it sans ads. The free XBL memberships should be subjected to the ads. |

 | reply to X Digital X What about that they put the game launch icon in the smallest tile to the top left, and big advertisements in the middle, shouldnt it be the other way around. |

| reply to X Digital X The update is OK. I still don't like having to buy the gold plan to watch Netflix or Hulu Plus.
Mostly the Kinect seems a bit creepy to me. I sorta reminds me a bit of something out of a cross between Terminator and Battlestar Galactica. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

| reply to X Digital X It's nice to have expanded use of the kinect, even if Bing can't understand what you're saying. I can't say about navigating yet, nut I still can't find everything on the new interface. Although I hate that Apps is one of the last options. I guess M$ needs the marketplaces near the beginning to make money.
The new Netflix makes great use of kinect, but they did away with a lot of options, like "restart" and display mode. -- Fight Cancer! Join DSLR's Team Discovery |

| reply to X Digital X I really like the Cloud thing they added and being able to download your profile at whatever xbox your on. I have 2 in my house and my kids were always mad when they went down stairs to play the saved game from the upstairs machine didnt load there game up where they left off. With this cloud no more need for a usb for little files like that! |

| reply to X Digital X It's not bad, I like the "Quickplay" option on the Home tab for the games and apps I play straight from the hard drive. I don't like how much of the screen is just empty space though. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

 | I'm disappointed in this update, as I have to test my connection every time I log in. The web site said to download my profile again, but that didn't help. This gets rather annoying after a while. |

Rook008Miles To GoPremium join:2002-02-05 Far Rockaway, NY | Yeah, my profile is about 20MB, and my game saves are pretty small with most being under 2MB and a couple at around 11MB.
It's actually a lot of storage for profiles and save game files. |
