California | Just a Vote of Confidence for Our GTE Field Techs I was pleasantly surprised to find that my local (former) GTE field tech lives right down the street from us. They have the field folks keep the truck at the the employee's home overnight, so I brought a (you guessed it) very welcome fruit cake to their home and said "thank you." The delight in the eyes was worth every humble feeling you've ever had. Tough times for the folks at GTE, but many out here respect and thank the knowledgeable and helpful ones.

| I will second that. My initial DSL installation wasn't without a few bumps. But the tech support representatives I spoke with on the phone were all very helpful and the field tech that showed up on the doorstep to troubleshoot the line was courteous and did his job with the utmost professionalism. Kudos to everyone at GTE. |
