Why these scammers don't proofread their scams is beyond me. Just thought I would put it here before JHD.
BTW I don't have a business so that was an additional clue.

Re: The bad Engrish always makes it stand out... Link you posted [I fixed it and tried it with a text-only HTTP client] is down. A customer got one of these yesterday and that link went to a site that was trying to install the Blackhole Exploit kit. Happy holidays. |

A fitting end to another piece of trash. When I received it I submitted to spamcop just for fun. At that time the sources were not blacklisted. |

Re: The bad Engrish always makes it stand out... I've been seeing the fake USPS notification ones in my Yahoo spam folder on average about once every other week, sometimes more frequently. I don't see how anyone could fall for those, yet some people must be as they keep on sending them.
There was a phish that its spam filters missed that claimed to be from Yahoo Mail asking for account verification. You were supposed to reply back to the email with your login information. Of course it was plainly obvious it wasn't from Yahoo and was addressed to "undisclosed recipients". I marked it as spam and JHD'd it. -- I, for one, welcome our new Computer Overlords. |
