Yeah..., my computer, the one i currently use for gaming, my graphics card struggles with some of the new games when the settings are maxed.
It's about that time for a new computer (on my time frame) and rather than waiting for Ivy Bridge, I'll have one constructed now, and about the time for a new one, on my standard life of computing, will be when Haswell comes out, which is "supposed" to be an awesome processor.
I've alotted a budget of $5400 for this new PC, so we'll see what I can come up with. |

Unless you're spending $5k every year you're better off to spend less money more often. $1250-2500 every year will go way further on average than $5k every 2-4 years.
$1000+ a year is a pretty high budget, my 'toys' are my biggest indulgence and I spent maybe half that leap-frogging GPU and other upgrades. I'm not hurting for cash but unless you are multimillions rich why not retire earlier lol? |

At least that is what one of my friends told me. If that is the case and they will be coming out in March then I will just wait, and just get one Radeon 6990 card. And when the 7000 series cards come out, I can just purchase the latest, highest end card of that series. |
