Uncle fell for fake tech support scams, possible backdoor?

bushnerd0 join:2006-07-03 Sault Ste Marie, ON	Uncle fell for fake tech support scams, possible backdoor? My uncle fell for the fake tech support scam with the eventviewer trick. He gave them access to his system, and they checked somethings out (he doesnt remember what). I know of malwarebytes, etc, but what about checking for possible backdoors that they may have left? I believe he went to a website to allow them to connect, but I would have to confirm. Luckily he called me before giving them any money. Thanks
