Does CV support all four streams on its cablecards now, and I assume since my market is all digital no tuning adapter unless I want international or premium channels no?

I don't think it has anything to do with what CV supports. An M-Card can support 6 streams. The Premier Elite is designed to work with one M-Card. -- University of Southern California - Fight On!
Thanks I knew or rather thought an M card would support it, just wasn't sure if CV somehow limited it
The elite seems over priced - but I have a bunch of gift cards for best buy that are burning a hole in my pocket and my DirecTV bill keeps getting higher and higher and 2 years @ $70 from CV is making me think
reply to johnner1999 It has to do with with what the tuning adapter supports. With the tuning adapter connected (necessary to receive SDV channels) the tuning adapter takes over the channel mapping functions.
And the original firmware for the cisco tuning adapter could only access 2 tuners. Now the fcc mandated back in August that the tuning adapters must support up to 6 tuners.
But last time I checked the firmware for my cisco TA it had a firmware version which according to various other forums would only support 2 tuners. However I have no real way of testing this since I only have a 2 tuner Tivo.
The tuning adapter firmware you have may only support 2 channels, but the card itself is able to support more channels. You are correct in saying that you only need the TA for international & some sports package channels since you are full digital, and no longer need it for some premium movie channels.
