DSL 2640B and EU 4.00 = bad wireless??

Hey guys,

I was having troubles with the wireless connection to my PS3 so I upgraded my Canadian DSL2640B to the EU 4.00 firmware.

The upgrade went ok, and I was back in business surfing the internet in no time. It appeared to save my wireless settings so I was not concerned.

However today when I went to use my laptop the laptop will not connect. I re setup the wireless network and I have been unable to get my laptop connected. Regardless of which security I use (even none) I cannot connect to the unit.

Is this due to the EU firmware on the non EU unit?

Any help would be appreciated as I heard that I cannot go back to the NA firmware (I have not tried yet)

Phad.

EDIT - My other laptop will connect but I get a message that says "This computer currently has limited connectivity to dlink_MUN"

When I enter the command getmac at a prompt it does show it connected to a transport the same as my desktop, but no internet access.

If the network was working before, it should work again. It is the laptop problem. I use EU and RU fw for my dir-635 and dir-655 without problem. PS3 works fine with both EU and RU fw. Just reboot the router and the laptop. It should reconnect again.
