Letter From Dan Received By Email
I just received the attached message in my email inbox at 4:24 am (CST) on Saturday, December 10. The contents are identical to the message I viewed last week when I followed the in-window offer to buy a Magic Jack Plus at half-price. As I have already accepted the earlier offer, I'd guess that all registered Magic Jack owners will eventually receive this "personal message" from Dan regardless of whether they have already responded to the offer.

One of the e-mails that's associated with a MagicJack got this message on Thursday. I haven't seen it at the other one. I'll check the spam trap later on.

I just ended a chat with the so-called customer service. I ordered the MJ plus at 1/2 price on December 12th. A few days later it was delivered to MA. Then it was returned. On December 23rd it was delivered to FL. I don't live in either of those states, and apparently, MJ refunded my money. It would have been nice to be informed of the goings on with the equipment. They had NOTHING to offer me except that I would have to re-order the equipment - I'm assuming at full price (?) The last customer service agent I chatted with said she was the the last person I could talk to. I'm sure someone like Dan Borislow would be interested in the lack of customer service, but since I can't get in touch with him, I figured I would post here. Maybe he has someone looking in on pages like this to see how customer service is doing.

I got the email on Dec 11. I placed my order within the time window, received it Dec 21. Installation went as expected and MJ+ has worked perfectly since.

I did not port my landline number. E911 is green for my address which, I guess, means it is also working as expected.

I could not get a local, Lexington, KY, number.

I have had MJ for around 3 years. It might be my imagination, but it seems the call quality is better with MJ+.

At this point, I think this is an awesome product.

Greetings all,

I responded to the offer and received the Plus in a couple of days. Excellent! I have used MJ for four years. Lately, I was having problems with DTMF recognition (see earlier thread), but the Plus solved all that. Works great! Call quality seems to be better, too. Works for me!

Just wondering...I also received the email although not until I returned from the hospital having a double fusion in my neck and I missed the time frame to order....is this going to be offered again?????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Only MJ and Dan know if and when it will be offered again.

Although a long shot, you can always contact MJ online chat support and ask. That being said, finding five people there who give you the same answer is short of impossible.

Just keep your fingers crossed that one day the offer will pop up again on your softphone.

There is a MJ removal tool on the MJ web page and MAYBE, MAYBE if you removed all the MJ software and reinstalled everything it MIGHT pop up again. If it were me, and my MJ was working fine, I would not risk it.
