Got the invite, and it looks like I'm set-up. However, I see that my ip address is being shown as afraid.org, which is the free ddns service I'm using.

My settings:

Dynamic IP: (checked)

Unique number for dynamic DNS client: XXXXXX [yes, I put my correct 6 digit number here.]

The "Monitor this STATIC IP:" field is what shows the afraid.org IP address:

I verified that afraid.org has my correct DDNS IP address, and I verified that I am pingable by going to this site:

and pinged my domain name (XXXXX.com) and, just for kicks, my dynamic IP.

Anyone have any ideas? *replaced my username:password with the real ones, and my NNNNNN ID was replaced with the real one, what I get back is a pop up box stating Windows cannot find..... if I get rid of the ID:PW dslreports.org box pops up asking for the ID and PW, so Im guessing the formatting has just changed in the way a URL will accept the ID and PW in the beginning of that url??

I started the Charter line monitoring yesterday. I see at some point, I have packet loss and high ping spike to SFO, CA.

What does this mean? How can I tell at what time of day/evening this happened?

I'm confused. I know when I do ping tests to CA, WA (west coast), I have 100-180ms. That is not good is it? Can this be corrected?
