Re: Forgot my Westell modem IP address The router doesn't list the modem IP address on its status page, or any other page that I can tell. It's an ancient Linksys BEFSR81, which doesn't show that info. What it does show is:
LAN: (MAC Address: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx) IP Address: 192.168.1.44 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 DHCP server: Enabled
WAN: (MAC Address: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx) IP Address: [my public ip addr] DNS: 71.243.0.12 71.250.0.12 0.0.0.0
Note i've obscured my mac addresses and public ip. Thanks for any help! |

 | Fantastic, thanks for the pointer wayjac. I will run the tool as soon as I can connect directly to the westell modem. I appreciate the help and will post the results. |

 | If you're still stuck, you could try going over to GRC.com and selecting "shieldsUp". It'll show you the address it' seeing. |
