mythology join:2002-10-16 Seneca, SC	Embed a flash file? I guess to go along with my Flash Banner thread i was wondering the correct way to embed a .swf file on a page? Im trying to embed a simple flash banner and make it un-clickable. »www.clemson4wheel.com/browse.cfm···417.html If i use iframe the banner displays fine in FF and IE but its clickable. Heres the code i use. `<iframe width="630" height="160" src="http://www2.clemson4wheel.com/iframes/daystarheader/daystarmedia_header.swf" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>` I can use this code below and it works great in FF and makes the banner un-clickable but the banner doesnt even load in IE. <object height="160" width="630" data="http://www2.clemson4wheel.com/iframes/daystarheader/daystarmedia_header.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> <param value="internal" name="allowNetworking"> <param value="never" name="allowScriptAccess"> <param value="transparent" name="wmode"> </object> I can host the swf file locally if that would help anything?

cdru Go Colts Premium,MVM join:2003-05-14 Fort Wayne, IN kudos:5	Loads fine for me in IE9 rendering as IE9 (and IE8 and IE7). Presuming you mean the banner at the top for Daystar.

mythology join:2002-10-16 Seneca, SC	reply to mythology Yes the iframe code loads fine on FF and IE. Any idea why the Object code doesnt work on IE? I`d like to disable clicking on the swf banner. The reason is it (the logo inside the swf) takes you to daystar web inside the iframe. Heres the object code i pulled from a google search on how to block clicking of the swf. Loads in FF but not in IE. It`s no biggie really. Just another quirk. http://www.cpostores.com/demo7/index.htm
