Re: lol yow! do u realize we talk about residential service? Where ISPs take into account "traditional" low use - low bandwidth use model, overselling nodes/Co's to most subscribers at assumption of traffic lower than from business or commerce. At which point they count on most subscribers will never notice? Everything changed since netflix streaming revolution and instead of discrete UAP cap that always has been there, you now have hard cap limit.
Also they prefer you to buy VOD on their channels rather than download from Amazon VOD so more $$$ goes to their pocket. U-Verse VOD/ Xfinity VOD does not count against cap, because it does not use the internet connection - it uses their video distribution channel. |
