Unless perhaps they are using some sort of javascript trick to get some of their information - I didn't bother allowing it in NoScript. -- I, for one, welcome our new Computer Overlords. |

I don't know if the developers are employing it in their data collection events, but it should be possible to get very close to the actual torrent participant.
There is however, always room for error where man is involved. I think they should add that line to their removal request notification speech. -- "Suddenly everything is fainting, falling from a broken ladder's rung. They aren't, and they are extremely off in their detection. Embarrassingly off! Their lack of basic understanding of how IP addresses are handed out makes them look all kinds of amateur. |

It does at least emphasize the futility of trying to identify copyright infringers by their IP address. Their methods of detection are as flawed as those most of the anti-piracy organizations are using. -- I, for one, welcome our new Computer Overlords. |

 | reply to Stem Bolt Downloaders should not use U-Verse. With U-Verse you can not change your IP address. Downloaders who can not change their IP address get angry. When they get angry, accidents happen. When accidents happen they need an eye patch. An eye patch reminds them of Pirates of The Caribbean. They want to download it but they have U-Verse and again they get angry. Accidents happen when they are angry and now are reminded of the movie Misery..... |
