Re: 7.5GB

If it was just 7.5GB, then that is INSANE, but it may not be. It may go up much more rapidly as the price goes up. Also, we don't know if there will be a free period like free nights and weekends, or what the price for more GB's will be. It would be an interesting model to start off with almost nothing and then charge a reasonable overage, say $10 per 10GB, which would still be a whole lot better than nothing in a rural area that has no other options.

We also don't know if they send you a tube of K-Y Jelly every month to use when you pay your bill or do they expect you to supply your own. So like you said, we'll see how it goes.

As far as reasonable overcharges, you said that these customers have no other option. So do you really think that Wild Blue wll do anything reasonable?

These prices and caps are like 3g/4G. But satellite is the primary isp for these people while 3G/4g is rarely the primary provider for users. I hope "fixed 4G LTE" service becomes a reality in rural areas. Wild Blue deserves to go out of business for taking such a huge advantage over people wanting internet access.

If they are unreasonable, people might just not use it as much. If they are reasonable, people will use a lot more, and then WB makes money.

It also depends on if there is a "free period" where you could pull 20GB of data with no issue.
