Additionally, we are rolling out a couple new features for TiVo's. In D.C. (we are starting here first) we are deploying Impulse PPV
on a TiVo. (Which is a first

Over the next week we will be enabling TiVo's in the D.C. market the ability to Impulse purchase a PPV Event or Show/Movie. Thus if you wanted to order the UFC Match you can now purchase it with your remote.

Direct VOD Launch, When you tune to channel 1 (OUR VOD CHANNEL) it will auto launch the VOD application on a TiVo.

We are going to bake this in D.C. for a couple weeks and then roll it out to the other markets.

Got the new TiVo last week,it has 14.92 and channels I block still are showing up, I have tried to block the channels many time, I'm also in Pa.

Any idea if the problems I posted about in the 14.9 thread (showing 480i content in 1080i rather than 480p, PC shares not showing up in My Shows) will be resolved in this update? Thanks.

I have noticed that since the new code was installed... When a new show starts ... the info banner pops up automatically... it never did that before.

This is interesting to see that there was new Tivo code pushed on December 14. I have two RCN Tivos in DC. Since (approximately) the 14th, I've experienced channels disappearing. For example, 607 (local ABC-HD) now gives message "Searching for Signal." Similarly, MTV-HD, Disney-HD, & several others give this error. Same exact problem on both my Tivos. (They seem to have zero signal). Of course, I can't be positive that the Tivo code from the 14th is the reason. I noticed an older thread where a user described a similar problem (see: »[TiVo] Premier losing channels in unison Bristow, VA)

I spoke to RCN tech support but they said they had never seen it before. Rebooting and re-doing guided setup didn't help. So they want to send a tech out. But if anyone has an idea, that would be super helpful to me! I also sent a DM to RCNman.

My problem was fixed today by an RCN tech. Turned out it was NOT related to this software release. The tech went onto the pole and replace the connector.

We started rolling 14.92 this week.. ALL OF DC , MA and PA are now on 14.92.

IL and NY will go next week.

Is 14.9.2 enabling the second CPU core like the retail builds?

We got the update on Tuesday.

I haven't noticed any difference, however a new issue is introduced with this update - I think:
YouTube search renders the box unresponsive. Watching YouTube videos seems to work fine though when browsing the videos list.

I am not sure if this a Flash Player issue or not, but it is version 14-9-mr/2011.10.12-0501 and HD Menu software version 1-9/2011.10.14-1818
