[Help] connecting Ipod touch to Belkin N600

I have been using Ipod touches for a couple of years now and love connecting in restaurants, hotels, on the wifi at work, etc. Have never had any problem getting on line. It is a 32G version 5.0.1 model MC544LL (4th generation). I just got a new wireless router at home. It is a Belkin N600 Dual Band. Easy set up, the laptop set right up and connected to the net, the desktop set right up and connected to the net, the ipod touch set right up and connected to the net. That was the First evening. Next evening all was well with everything but the touch= It said it is connected to belkin.e80, but it is not- anytime I try to get online it says a wireless connection is required. when I go to the wireless networks, it looks like it is trying to connect, but never does. I tried forgetting the network and reentering it, but that didn't work. It still connects to the wifi at work, but now at home its a no go. Is this an easy fix or should I just return this belkin and get a more compatible brand?
