RIM liquidation near?
I've tried all 3 of the major smartphones (BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android) and my weapon of choice is the iPhone (which I currently have the iPhone 4 through Verizon). The BlackBerry is too limited and Android does not sync well with Mac computers (iCloud and iTunes). Plus, the iPhone doubles as an iPod so I can play my favorite music (that I've downloaded legally off of iTunes) in the car using a dock cable attached to an aftermarket stereo.
I would not be surprised if RIM goes out of business in the next year or two. When I go into a Verizon store or AT&T store, there are lots of Android phones as well as a dedicated display for the iPhone in their respective showrooms. They only have 1 or 2 different blackberries on the showroom floor at the same time.
All of my CPE (including my EMTA) is customer owned. The only Comcast owned equipment in my house is the CableCards in the two TiVO boxes I own.
