 | BroadbandBLUE? I came across »www.broadbandblue.com in my search for an ISP. Anyone know anything about this one?
It's expensive, even though they say it's a fraction of what satellite charges. $250 for installation, which they think is cheap. From the coverage page, it uses Sprint's network. They also advertise that it's great for streaming everything and online gaming, which one would think LOW latency. I'm not sure I buy that one.
Are their modems and antennae so much better than what MaxSignal sells that they can actually offer the speeds and low latency that they're advertising?
Would using Millenicom's Sprint package be the same deal, just a ton cheaper?
My favorite part is how they say "4G simply means that internet speed is four times quicker than 3G". |

May be like Virgin Mobile's "no data caps" where you get dropped to 250 Kbps once you go over 2.5 GB. |

 | reply to JohnBasedow looking at their badly written coverage checker, it appears to be using sprints network.
The setup cost of $249 doesnt seem toooo bad to me. If i look at the local cost here, a router is $150 + $99 for a usb 3g dongle to go in the back.
I would imagine a similar price for an all in one unit with antenna and sim card setup costs.
I wouldnt know about the monthly cost of $89 though. |
