Anyone have an iSpot for sale?

Anyone in the Tampa Bay area have a used iSpot... specifically the white iSpot, not the "Clear Spot"... they'd like to sell real cheap?

Mine died and Clear doesn't have any replacements in stock.

Hi - I am in NYC. I love my ispot, but just switched jobs and don't need to be mobile with my ipad any more. I was looking to sell for the original price ($100) since it's such a good deal for unlimited data. any interest?

Thanks but no. I really depended on being mobile and couldn't wait.

Clear couldn't help at all and none of their retail locations had any left, so I cancelled the Clear account and went with T-mobile. The T-mobile plan I got is only $5 more per month and the coverage area is a thousand times better.

I used to have intermittent Clear coverage as I drove around town, and zero coverage when I visited relatives out of town. With the T-mobile service, there hasn't been a time yet that I haven't had service. It's not always 4G but the unit automatically falls back to 3G or Edge, whatever is available. It's more than enough for email and basic web services.

I put up with the limited Clear coverage because the price was cheap. But had I known how good T-mobile data coverage is for just $5 more, I would have switched a long time ago. OK so T-Mobile caps data at 1 GB per month ($50 for 3 GB) but I never went over ~500 MB with Clear anyway.

So for me, it works.

Do you still have this for sale, I may be interested in buying it and I'm in NYC.

How much data do you consume in a typical month? Since moving to the T-Mobile prepaid hotspot at $30/mo. and 1 GB data, I couldn't be happier. The coverage is infinitely better than Clear and only $5 more.

Most of my time is spent in places with wi-fi, so I've never come close to using 1 GB in a month even on Clear's unlimited plan. YMMV.
