| I love at&t's habit of talking out of both sides of their mouth. With the u-verse service wireline is not declining. But the part of the business that IS ALSO growing is the amount of contract labor they use. It has nothing to do with everybody going to wireless those loses flattened out years ago. |

setting vrads is already done by contractors. The only thing techs do is plug in the electronic cards and connect the fiber/copper cables. After that all the configuration, setup, and testing is done by network control. |

So now it will be 2-3 months for them to "turn on" a phone line and another month for them to actually send a tech to hook it up to the NID. Nice!
