I have developed a Facebook weather application that saves your settings based off of what you choose by using your Facebook ID (not user ID the ID like a primary ID of a DB). Would any of you like to give me the pro's & cons of it and test it for different areas? »apps.facebook.com/128454597258052/
I tried to work for every scenario but seem to miss some every now and then.
It's called "My Arkansas Weather Alert" just because that's how it started was a weather page for my family in Arkansas. It used to automatically create posts on the application page when there was a watch & warnings for Arkansas. I was going to eventually try to push a messaging system to message the user when there is a warning issued in the area but have since scrapped those plans because of the limitations of Facebook's API.
If you where using something like this what would you like to see? What do you not like about it? I know the layout isn't that great and graphics are not awesome but eventually I will get to that. I'm wanting to focus on functionality.
After testing if you want me to wipe your data from the system I can just PM me your ID stating you want to erase your settings. Nothing majorly personal is stored and even accessing it outside of Facebook will not pull any un-necessary information (see About Application).
Edit: Before I get bashed for "connecting it to Facebook" this application is completely separate from my first weather / notice project. »weather.myarkansas.org/ This one only does work in Arkansas for some features.
What were you doing when this error occured? I actually have no error returns that should return that. It should give a error number that refers to the line instead of a blanket one like that.

Just followed the first link using FF. I was already logged into facebook. I tried the same thing with IE that was NOT logged in and received the same error once I was logged in.
Yeah a few of my family members use it. I can even create a test account and it works fine. I checked the error logs and don't see anything I will research some more, it maybe some crazy thing on Facebook's end.
Just in case your curious on what went wrong. I sent the link to my application using my application ID instead of my "namespace". The url with my app ID is not an authorized URL to "return to" using my application so Facebook stopped it thinking someone was trying to hijack my secure access tokens.
