What program are you guys using to overclock your CPU?
I'm currently running an AMD Quadcore 630 and looking to overclock it slightly.
Thanks for any help. |

I recommend working directly on your BIOS. -- "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." |

The OC forum may be a good place to start hunting: »Overclocking / Modding
Also note that Google brings up a lot of results if you google your CPU and add overclocking to the end of it. However, I've never owned an AMD so I won't try and give you specific advice on how to do it beyond this--you don't want to use software, but do it from the BIOS. You typically raise the multiplier until it becomes unstable via burn tests, then raise the voltage until it becomes stable against. Repeat until you reach the desired speed or heat becomes an issue.
Make sure you are using an aftermarket CPU cooler. -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening. |

I actually just ordered a Cooler Master Hyper 212 and found out it was too massive for my case.
I have a TX3 coming in the mail instead, which should work good.
I'll read up over on that over forum. |
