| Line Monitor "ping times" I am seeing some very high ping times on my line monitors that do not correlate with an actual "ping" or "tracert" done from a C: prompt.
For example if I ping to dslreports-east1.speakeasy.net the time is shown as 16ms. If I look at the graph it is showing a steady 50ms and the weekly stats are reporting 78ms.
Going to the west1 and west2 servers are a bit high also on the tracert. There is a jump in ping times that sticks to the tracert between level3 in Washington, DC and Covad inMcLean VA mclean.covad.com. Times to the last level3 point in DC are 20ms and then mclean.covad.com reports 100+ as do any points further west from my location on the east coast.
Anyone else seeing this?
