Would someone please show me where, in the online bill, it shows whether I'm under the year contract for the AT&T service? I renewed in October but my 2 subsequent bills don't show this and they have downgraded my speed to stabilize my connection since (voiding the contract?). I am planning to go with another ISP but don't want to be hit with an early termination fee.

Just call billing they show see it as soon as they pull your account up there computers.

Are you paying a promotional price, did you get free after rebate equipment

I've had HSI from Pacific Bell and then AT&T for years. The original contract I assume was promotional yet free equipment was never part of the package. I was told to contact them every year, prior to expiration, to see if I could get the same rate. I have done so but beginning with last year's contract I had to call multiple times to get the economic terms enforced.
I renewed again in October but since have had my speed downgraded I'm told to stabilize my connection and once again subsequent bills do not reflect the agreed upon terms. My connection is still dropping although not as frequently (still at least 10 times per day). I've had 4 technician visits since September, told each time it was not a problem with my wiring.
At this point I am tired of dealing with AT&T and will switch to at least a more responsive ISP. I am just taking precautions for the inevitable early termination fee.

Update: I was told that the contract term is not available through your account on the website. I saw it at one time and don't know if they no longer provide it or, if missing, you're not under contract.
