Myself, removed Win XP from my computer and now getting used to Ubuntu Linux.

And where are the pictures of them?

Zev is Hebrew for Wolf and Shira means poetry, their "shelter" names that I liked from the start and hubby didn't come up with anything better

Zev on the left, Shira on the right. Shira came home with us the next day (after being spayed) and Zev came home several days later because of some minor eye surgery (his inner eye lid won't retract).

I hope Zev's eye heals up okay. Poor thing.

And now you are owned by 2 kitties. Life will never be the same.

I think the eyelid is there to stay, but it does seem to be healing up nicely. And it doesn't nothing to keep me from referring him to as one of the "two terrors"

Wait until they both get the "night terrors" at the same time.

Does he seem to see okay out of it? Do they know what happened to the eye?

So far they have been GREAT with sleeping through the night... but I'm sure it won't last

The vet says he has sight out of that eye (I'm guessing somewhat limited) but they were rescued with very little info about them provided by the rescuer so we don't know if he was born that way or if it's due to some kind of trauma/injury...

I wondered if they were from a stray litter. I'm glad you gave them a good forever home.

Zev's eye will be fine. Whether it heals to normal or heals and stays this way, he'll be a happy boy. I've had rescues with worse birth challenges and they've all lived long happy healthy lives

Just be prepared for the Kitty-anapolis 500 (aka the thundering herd)

The laser pointer is especially fun for getting the Kitty Raceway going up and down our long hallway

Yes, Zev's eye is healing up nicely. The inner eyelid was was somewhat swollen and very red the first time we visited him. It's now barely pink, he's barely teary-eyed, and has been feeling great since we brought him home

We lost our two long-time companions (Corey and Minerva) this past late summer / early fall and the house has been way too quiet since. But it's been a loooong time since I've had a kitten and the first time for having two at once Good thing they sleep alot!
