Got a few inches of snow today when I woke up, melting though. Temps in mid 30's.

I wondered why the cat was curled up all close to me this morning then I looked outside...Brrrrr since the radiator isn't on ATM.

Hibernating would be good today, since we have no choice. 32 and snowing moderately. Not the best photos.

Just got blasted by gusting winds and rain mixed with hail...the cat was not enthused by the racket.
quote:
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a

* small stream Flood Advisory for rain and melting snow in...
northeastern Spokane County in eastern Washington...
northeastern Okanogan County in north central Washington...
Ferry County in northeast Washington...
this includes the city of Republic...
Pend Oreille County in northeast Washington...
this includes the city of Newport...
Stevens County in northeast Washington...
Bonner County in the Panhandle of Idaho...
this includes the city of Sandpoint...
Boundary County in the Panhandle of Idaho...
this includes the city of Bonners Ferry...
northwestern Kootenai County in the Panhandle of Idaho...

* until 715 PM PDT Thursday.

* As of 1 PM PDT... spotters have reported between 0.50 and 1.25
inches of rain since last night across much of northeastern
Washington and north Idaho. The rain coupled with melting snow has
produced mainly minor nuisance lowland flooding.

* However... there have been reports of mudslides in the
Rice... Kettle Falls and Colville areas. Part of a hillside has slid
and blocked cheweka creek along Pleasant Valley Road. There have
been no reports of flooding... but lowland flooding will be possible
along cheweka creek just east of Rice.

* There have also been reports of minor lowland flooding around
Republic in Ferry County due to melting snow blocking culverts.

* Minor lowland flooding and additional mudslides will be possible
into early this evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.

»www.wunderground.com/US/ ··· 037.html

Glad I don't drive, it's mess out there with water blowing ove the roads and minor flooding. Like an inch of water everywhere.

Our snow is about gone, been in the 40's with lots of rain the last 2 days. Now its cold enough for wet snow at 37F. Have no idea if its suppose to snow though.

This morning it was white, gone by noon, but it's white again, really white.

The strange thing is when I leaving a friend's house in Bellevue around 9 PM it it was clear and starry. So clear that I had to go back for some warm water to defrost the outside of my windshield. Became cloudy and drizzly by Kirkland, downpour around Bothell, and a major ice pellet shower in Lynnwood.

And it's warm most everywhere, like a high of 82 degrees in Chicago....

I'm so sick of this weather. Snow on the ground here (not a lot but STILL), hail yesterday morning, snow showers yesterday afternoon (even heavier in Portland, apparently), clear by sunset and now snow / frozen roads.

Ugh. If this is March coming in like a lion and it had better be one sweet lamb going out!

Snow on the ground here still (a lot has melted may be 2 or 3 inches left from 14 inches), that was not long after my previous post on this page.
