SOPA Protest/Awareness Event

I don't want to copy the whole post (I seem to recall some rule against cross-posting), but this definitely belongs here, as well. I posted this in the webmaster/developer forum and now I'm bringing it to you here, as well.

Hopefully this doesn't violate the advertizing rules (it's not a service, product, or company) but if it does, I understand if it has to be removed.

Reply here, reply there, doesn't matter, I'll participate in both threads.

From what I read, doesn't sound good at all.

Glad my host (Canvas Dreams) is against SOPA.

Even though Namecheap (NC) is against it as well, before SOPA came into play transferred my domains to Canvas Dreams (CD), related to NC account issues, still have 3 domains at NC that are being transferred to CD in February.

I have a few websites (yourip.us, checksite.us, viewsource.us), that all together receive 8-10k unique visits per month. I am willing to display a SOPA Protest/Awareness on those sites, even taking down the main sites for one day to protest SOPA.
